  My money's on him being a UK Bethelite - and a plant by the cult to expose & disrupt dissenters.

  Why would anyone who wants to appear as a fader/apostate on apostate web sites and frequently contribute public domain information, never condemn or even criticise the org or the G.B?

  The plot thickens - he then claims in court papers to be a devout JW when confronted by the org's legal department.

  Was this a charade by the WTBTS to make present & future faders/ex-JW's fearful of using JW material on the WWW to expose the cult?

  If so, it looks like it may have worked. Money donations well spent - in their eyes!

  Section 1 Charities Act 2011 provides the definition in England and Wales:

  (1) For the purposes of the law of England and Wales, “charity” means an institution which—

  (a) is established for charitable purposes only, and (the org sole function is self-perpetuation)

  (b) falls to be subject to the control of the High Court in the exercise of its jurisdiction with respect to charities.

  The Charities Act 2011 provides the following list of charitable purposes.[29]

  1. the prevention or relief of poverty

  2. the advancement of education

  3. the advancement of religion (AND?)

  4. the advancement of health or the saving of lives

  5. the advancement of citizenship or community development

  6. the advancement of the arts, culture, heritage or science

  7. the advancement of amateur sport

  8. the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation or the promotion of religious or racial harmony or equality and diversity

  9. the advancement of environmental protection or improvement

  10. the relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage

  11. the advancement of animal welfare

  12. the promotion of the efficiency of the armed forces of the Crown or of the police, fire and rescue services or ambulance services

  13. other purposes currently recognized as charitable and any new charitable purposes which are similar to another charitable purpose.

  A charity must ALSO provide a public benefit via the relief of poverty, the advancement of education, the advancement of religion, and other purposes considered beneficial to the community.

  the society asks to reconsider a $4 million judgment against it in a california child abuse case.

  Wake up all you scumbags in positions of power within the WTBTS/CCoJW - your business empire is going to have to bite the same bullet as the Vatican did.

  jw regional conventions scheduled to be held in rochester ny in august 2019, will instead be held in wilkes-barre, pa.. here is the story:.

  I personally knew a JW sister years ago who went to prison because she obeyed the Bible/org's rule that a JW could not swear on a Bible in court if summoned to be a jury member.

  Her conscience wouldn't allow her to pay a fine as an alternative to prison, but a wealthy JW family got her released after paying the fine for her.

  Mr. Whacko-Jacko of the WitchTower Babble & Trapped Society must have missed what Jesus said about not swearing.

  or must you be disfellowshipped or disassociated to officially say you really aren’t a witness?.

  The "official" attitude is, if you're not witnessing for Jehovah, you're not one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

  However, the org no doubt delights when JW's decide for themselves to shun any irregular/inactive ones.

  Shunning is now viewed as both a conscience matter and as a mandatory one by many JW's.

  i was just wondering if there is any official rules on dealing with this.

  a sister in the congregation is planning to divorce her husband who is also a witness so she can marry a different brother in the same hall!
